Employees showed up to several Bennigan’s restaurant across the Tampa Bay area only to find out that their restaurant was shut-down. Not all Bennigans have closed –the one in Channelside is still operational. What really is sad is that these employees were not told that they were going to be out of a job until today. I am sure there are a few living from paycheck-to-paycheck and this really makse their personal finances even worse.
Other cities across the United States are also faced with the sudden closure of their local restaurants. Although we are told constantly that we are not in a recession it certainly does feel that it is the case.
