Exercising just 30 Minutes a day is just not enough to cut ALL the fat.

A new study reported that to really lose weight a person needs to exercise 55 minutes a day 5 days out of the week. For many people that have been exercising for 30 minutes a few times a week and see no results this study’s findings might now reveal why.

To others who wonder how on Earth they are going to exercise almost an hour a day for most of the week, I am wondering the same exact thing. But along with exercise, nutrition does also pay a major part in weight loss. Losing weight with nutritional and low calorie meals is possible even if you cannot get in as much exercise as you need.

Some tips to add a few minutes of exercise here and there to your day are:

  • Park far away from the entrance or store that you are going into.
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
  • Take a few breaks for your desk during the day to stretch your legs.
  • If you take kids to practice or classes during the evening, take a walk when the kids are practicing.
