Each year, Florida has a back-to-school holiday that gives parents a discount on school supplies and clothes by excluding sales tax from the total cost. This holiday runs from July 20th to August 20th. Many of the items are the same as in previous years. Some items include shoes and apparel, diaper bags, and graduation caps and gowns costing less than $100 each. Electronics like laptops, tablets, and webcams are also exempt from sales tax.
