Sunday’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers is sure to be an entertaining one. Both teams have surprised fans and haters alike by coming out on top of their respective divisions. Both also currently hold 3-1 records. Neither team has had that impressive of a performance, but they both have managed to snag victories against some formidable opponents.
Most experts are predicting a Buc victory, but only by a slight margin. Talented quarterback Josh Freeman gives the team a bit of an edge over the 49ers. That being said, the 49ers will have the advantage of playing on their home turf. Had the game been held in Tampa Bay, it would be an almost certain victory for the Bucs. Playing in San Fancisco will give the Bucs a bit more of a challenge.
Another thing playing in the 49ers’ favor is the fact that the Bucs just played on Monday and then had to travel across the country. It is amazing how much difference an extra day can make in the overall performance of an NFL team. The 49ers will be better rested and have had more time to prepare for Sunday’s game.
If the Bucs are able to make a quick recovery and play as well as they did against the Colts, nothing should stop them from achieving a 4-1 record. Still, Tampa Bay fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too much, because the 49ers will surely be giving the Bucs are run for their money.
