As of today, there are several different summer jobs listing on the City of Tampa web site. This is a great way for teens to earn some extra money while out of school for the summer. Teachers and other employees that off during the summers may also want to take advantage of the summer jobs offered by the City of Tampa. Some jobs listed on the web site are:
- Summer Roving Art Program Leader
- Summer Recreation Leader
- Summer Reading Coordinator
- Summer Athletic Program Leader
- Lifeguard
Most of the positions require that the applicant be at least 18 years-old, but there are some that only require the job applicant be at least 16 years-old. You can go online and apply for these positions at http://www.tampagov.net/appl_personnel_job_openings/. That page has a listing of summer seasonal jobs and other year-round City of Tampa jobs.
