City of Tampa 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Parade

The City of Tampa MLK Jr. Parade, set for January 15, 2024, will be led by Grand Marshal Gwen Miller, the first African American woman elected to the Tampa City Council. Featuring renowned bands from Florida A&M University, Bethune-Cookman University, and Edward Waters University, along with over 100 participating groups, the parade is sponsored by Florida Blue and TECO, with support from various organizations and corporate leaders, including the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority, Mosaic, Rebein Brothers Law, USAA, Amazon Black Employees Network, AT&T, Grow Financial, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, Bank of Tampa, Women’s Council of Bay Area Association of Realtists, and Media Partner 101.5 The Vibe.

The City of Tampa’s MLK Parade will start at Cuscaden Park, located at 2901 N. 15th St. Tampa. The Parade will start at noon and is open to the public.
