Hope Everyone is having a very Merry Christmas and enjoying being around family and friends. Christmas is the day that is designated as the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Santa has many stops to make across the globe and many times children are tired and sleeping and are unable to see the live Christmas Eve deliveries of Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. NORAD has tracked and recorded Santa Claus and has some very interesting video posted on Youtube.

I do not mind re-gifting. There has been argument about re-gifting and how it is just a terrible thing, but if it is a cool present then why not. Most women would not mind someone re-gifting a Fendi bag or 2ct diamond ring. Now if you want to re-gift that ugly scratching sweater that you wouldn’t even considering putting in litter box, then that is when I have to say “halt!” “Stop!” and “Espara.” The only truly allowable re-gifting is a gift that is really nice. And please do not let it be something that you have worn all over the place. No wants to have something you have been wearing, and that everyone thinks is yours. A re-giftable gift is something that is not used, unless it is maybe antique or collectable otherwise do not re-gift.

Last Minute Christmas shoppers tell themselves that each year they will start their Christmas shopping early. There are those that start shopping for next Christmas the day after Christmas and just shake their heads at those that wait until the last minute.

My mother was always one of those last minute Christmas shoppers. What has helped her now is re-gifting. Her office always has an early Christmas party and she uses those gifts to give to other people. I have inherited or learned some of that last minute Christmas shopping ways, but I am trying to change. I am just a procrastinator and have always been that way. Once I get rid of the procrastinating I can get rid of the last minute Christmas shopping.

Maybe when I am out shopping on Christmas Eve I can find a book on overcoming procrastination, but maybe I can wait and get it later.

A dad, wanting to punishment his son for smoking marijuana sold his Christmas present on EBay and made $9000. The dad, who lives in Canada, came home early and saw his son and two of his friends smoking marijuana in his backyard. The dad had purchased a video game that was extremely hard to get called “Guitar Hero III” for $90. He was able to list that Nintendo Wii game and get $900 for it. This punishment has payoff monetarily for the dad and lets hope that it pays off in the other way he would like and his son learns that marijuana smoking is not something he should do.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas in every store you go. Although Halloween has not even come the Christmas decorations are already in many retail stores.

Every year the toy industry comes out with toys that they believe will be desired by kids. As a parent we know that sometimes a child may see a toy in the stores or on television and want it as if it was the last piece of candy. Once the child has that toy for a week, that feeling goes as quickly as it came.

On the other hand there are those toys that children cannot seem to put down no matter how long they have had it. These are the type of toys and gifts that parents all over Tampa Bay and the world are hoping to give their children this Christmas holiday. Yeah, we all know that Christmas is more about showing the spirit of giving and love, but what parent doesn’t want their child to enjoy their Christmas present.

To really give a great gift this Christmas season parents must get to know their children. Know your child’s likes and dislikes. It really is not about you giving the gift that you wish you had as kid. It is about the gift that your child would enjoy for a long time. Sometimes these things may go together.
