Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is Offering Scholarships for Summer Camp Program

Financially needy children will still have the opportunity to attend MOSI’s summer science camp.

MOSI will award scholarships to campers who meet the requirements listed below to

attend a full day of on-site camp for one week during the summer of 2009. The

scholarship award is based on student interest, need and family income.

Eligibility:

Open to students in completed Kindergarten through 9th grade with documented

financial need. Priority is given to students who have not received a scholarship in the

previous year.

The Scholarship deadline is May 2, 2009.

Open Casting Call for Popular CBS Soap Opera

Guiding Light will be filming at Universal Orland later this March. The show needs extras and will be having an open casting call for those extras tomorrow.

“Guiding Light” star Murray Bartlett (Cyrus) and casting director Rob Decina will be holding an open casting session from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Universal CityWalk, 1000 Universal Studios Plaza, Orlando.
