This year back to school shoppers get over a week to take advantage of tax-free shopping for back-to-school items. From July 31st to August 9th you can shop for clothes and supplies without having to pay any taxes.
Items Included:
- purchases of clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item
- purchases of certain school supplies selling for $15 or less per item
- the first $1,000 of the sales price of personal computers and certain computer-related accessories, when
purchased for noncommercial home or personal use.
