In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month Hillsborough County library is holding 3 different contests for kids and adults. Each contest is for a different age group. The bookmark contest is for children in grades Kindergarten-5th. The poster contest is for children in grades 5th-12th. The poetry contest is for those 18 years and older.
They are worth entering because they include some great prizes. The first place winner of the bookmark contest gets a $100 savings bond and 100 of their bookmarks professionally printed. The second place winner of the bookmark contest also gets 100 professionally printed bookmarks and a $50 savings bond. Poster contest winners will get a Barnes and Nobles gift card: the first prize is a $100 and 10 professionally printed posters, the second prize is a $50 gift card and 5 professionally printed posters. Poetry contest prizes include: first place $200, second place $100 and third place $50.
