To our Dolphin brothers down in Miami ,we feel your pain. It is painful to see the Miami Dolphins lose game after game and just wonder what doubts might be going on in the minds of these players. We now sit and wonder how any team could lose an entire season.
But it has happened before and it happened back in 1976 to our very own Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers ,along with many other teams ,have had some miserable years that left some fans shaking their heads. And like the Buccaneers, there is always opportunity to come back. There is no playoff hope for the Miami Dolphins this season, but next year can be extremely better. Losing all their games guarantees that the Dolphins get the first round draft pick. Another thing is that the Dolphins will have the record of losing the most games in an NFL season. That may not be a record to want to hold, but it is a record none-the-less.
I say that in jest, because I remember my years growing up in South Florida and singing that song “Miami, Dolphins. Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins Number One.” You can join in singing with my if you like. I believe that Miami Dolphins will rise from that ashes and show the world a little something about being number one.
