Gas Companies getting richer

Have you seen the figures from the gas companies. Chevron has had a record quarter.

This is a quote taken from TamBays10.com

“California-based Chevron is reporting its first quarter profit rose 49 percent to $4 billion. Revenue topped $54 billion, a 31percent increase from a year earlier. It

is joining two rivals, ConocoPhillips and Exxon Mobil, which reported similarly stunning first-quarter profits. Combined, the three oil companies earned $15.7 billion during the three months of the year.”

Now we all knew that the money was not going into thin air. Somebody had to be getting fatter pockets. Now when working people have to wonder how they are going to budget so that they can afford gas and these big companies are getting fatter pocket something is definitely wrong. Instead of looking at the small gas stations from price gouging we really need to take a look at those higher up in the big offices and see what they may be doing to increase gas prices at the consumer level.
