Hey guys. Unless, you live under a rock, you must have heard that Katie Couric is leaving “The Today Show”  and taking over the CBS evening news. The change happens in May when her contract is up.   They are apparently trying to replace her with the View’s co-host Meredith Viera.  I will miss Katie in the morning, but I do wish her all the best for the evening news.
Meredith does have some big shoes to fill, but I honestly think she can do the job. She can be fun and professional, which is what the job requires. I wonder what the “View” is going to do without her. Now this is all speculation. Although Katie Couric did announce her departure from “Today”,  Meredith did not say she was leaving the “View.”
