Pepin Academies- Riverview Campus

Pepin Academies Riverview Campus is a public charter school dedicated to serving students with learning disabilities. The school receives its charter from the local school district and complies with all applicable state laws and public school system requirements, in addition to adhering to its own charter guidelines.

Established in 2014, the Riverview campus initially operated from a small location in the Lake St. Charles neighborhood. In 2016, the campus relocated to a significantly larger site, allowing for expanded facilities and resources. Currently, Pepin Academies Riverview Campus accommodates over 400 students in grades 3-12.

Admission to the Riverview Campus is exclusively for students who have a learning disability or learning-related disability. Eligible conditions include, but are not limited to, Specific Learning Disabilities, Language Impairment, Speech Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Other Health Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Pervasive Developmental Delay, or a medical condition that affects learning. All prospective students must have a current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to enroll.

Pepin Academies Riverview Campus offers a comprehensive range of programs and resources tailored to meet the diverse needs of its student body. These include family support services, transition programs, athletics, arts, and various clubs. The educational team is comprised of experienced, ESE-certified teachers who develop personalized education plans to address each student’s unique strengths and challenges. Through specialized instruction and innovative teaching methods, the campus strives to unlock the full potential of every student.

While committed to providing high-quality education and support, Pepin Academies Riverview Campus acknowledges that there are instances where the specific needs of certain students may exceed the scope of its services. In such cases, the school recognizes that alternative educational options may better serve students with specialized requirements.
