During the new Baseball Season, the Tampa Bay Rays will be sporting a new jersey during their Sunday home games.

Manufactured by Majestic Athletic, the new alternate jersey is a Columbia blue button-down with navy blue RAYS outlined in white trim across the chest and featuring the Rays sunburst. The sunburst is slightly larger than the sunburst on the home and road jerseys. Navy trim surrounds the sleeves and collar and extends down the front of the jersey. The player’s name is featured on the back in white outlined in navy. The player’s number is navy outlined in white.

This makes four different jerseys for the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays have a traditional home game jersey, an away game jersey, and another alternate jersey that they will continue to wear.

P90X (Power 90 Extreme) seems to be something that everyone is doing or knows someone who has tried it. For awhile, many of my friends’ Facebook updates would say that they were starting the P90X program. Just today I was talking to a guy that I have known for years that does the program and has been doing it for almost year. He had nothing but good things to say about it. Before he started the P90X program he always went to the Gym, so he was in pretty good shape to begin with. He did say that he went from a size 36 waist to a size 34 waist. I have a lot more work to do than he does, and I have not seriously exercised in years. Sometimes I’ll try to start an exercise routine and then something would mess-up my schedule and then I would stop. Power 90 Extreme uses muscle confusion to get faster results. Although they promise faster results, it does require a lot of hard work and, of course, watching what you eat. As a busy mom, I am looking for something that works well with my schedule and gets me lean and toned. I have not decided on the program, but it is a possibility.

The Census will be mailed in mi-March and Hillsborough County officials would like for you to be careful to avoid scams. They have provided some points to remember as you prepare for this decade’s census.

U.S. Census workers carry identification at all times, which they must display and have a telephone number that residents may use to call immediately to verify their identity. However, residents should never invite anyone they don’t know into their home.

U.S. Census workers will begin knocking on doors after questionnaires have been mailed in mid-March. Residents do not need to release their social security numbers, or credit card/banking information. Residents are only asked to provide how many people live at the address and other demographic information, such as race, age, gender, etc.

U.S. Census workers will not solicit donations, and will never ask for fees.

U.S. Census workers may contact residents via telephone, mail or in person at home. However, they will not contact anyone by email, so residents should beware of email scams and never click on a link or open an attachment that claims to be from the U.S. Census.

Census workers will visit the homes of those residents who don’t return their completed questionnaires.

It is imperative everyone fills out a census form as census information helps determine how billions of dollars in federal funding is spent in local communities!

If you have questions, contact the regional Census office at 1-800-424-6974 or the County’s Consumer Protection Agency at (813) 903-3430.

Contestants are eligible to instantly win a $50 Hess gas card and receive special offers. All contestants will be automatically entered to win the grand prize free gas for a year awarded as a $2,000 Hess gas card. During the contest, 21 winners will receive the $50 Hess gas cards. The drawing for one grand prize winner will take place in early April.

The Hess Gas Giveaway is open to people 18 years of age or older who live in 12 East Coast states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont.

Now that is one contest that I would love to win. Some people may use more than $2,000 a year in gas and others may use even less, but either way most adults living in Tampa Bay could use the card. Tampa Bay is not a really public transportation area like New York or Washington D.C. A lot of people have cars and even winning the $50 gift card would be great.

Gruden is the brother of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden. Jay Gruden was an offensive assistant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2002 to 2008. He also has experience in the Arena Football league as a head coach and quarterback. In 1997 Jay Gruden held the offensive coordinator position for the Nashville Kats. He also was head coach for the Orlando Predators from 1998-2001 and then again from 2004-2008. Gruden also spent time as quarterback the Tampa Bay Storm and the Orlando Predators.

Gruden spent 17 seasons in the Arena Football League, acquiring six Championship titles and consistently rewriting the league’s history books. As starting quarterback in Tampa Bay, Gruden led the Storm to an unprecedented four ArenaBowl titles in six seasons. During his playing career, Gruden racked up two All-Arena selections and grabbed the 1992 MVP honors.

As head coach of the Orlando Predators (1998-2001, 2004-2008), Gruden led his team to four ArenaBowl appearances with two championships and ranks sixth overall in AFL wins with a 82-54 regular-season record. As a head coach, he is 93-61-0 and ranks in the top 10 overall in coaching wins and winning percentage. He is one of only five AFL coaches with two or more ArenaBowl championships. As a quarterback, he ranks in the top ten with more than 20,000 passing yards and close to 400 touchdowns.

Gruden earned his seventh professional championship ring when the Bucs won the 2002 Super Bowl.

I have to admit that I have not taken coupons and coupon clipping very seriously. Overspending is not something I do either. When shopping for the family, my husband and I try to find the bargains wherever we can. However, using coupons has not been a consistent thing for us.

Recently, I ran into another mom that seemed to have the coupon clipping down to a science. She described different ways that other moms organize their coupons and some of it is according to personal preference. One way some savvy shoppers sort their coupons is with a binder and baseball card dividers. It really worked well for me. I had seen other shoppers walking around stores with these dividers, and hear of other people using it. Now I see why they sorted their coupons that way-it really makes everything easy to find.

There are other ways to sort coupons that include using a shoe box and a filing system that has the coupons in alphabetical order. I have never tried this technique, but it works well for many shoppers.

Now that I have my coupon sorting together, my next goal is to find more places to get coupons. All my coupons, so far, have come from Sunday’s newspaper. Now I will be scouring the web looking for coupons and deals. If you know of a deals or coupons just let me know. I would love to post them and let other know as well.
