Interested applicants can audition live or submit a video online via Univision.com (keyword: Reportero Verizon) highlighting their ability to report; knowledge of sports; creativity; overall personality in front of the camera; and why they should be chosen as a Reportero para Verizon for Univision. The winner will be selected based on those criteria.

There are going to to several auditions across the United States. A live audition will occur in Tampa and Miami and other cities across the United States.
