May 4th is Free Comic Book Day (Yes, there is a day for that.) throughout the world. The website freecomicbookday.com has details about the free comic book giveaway and also a store locator for you to find comic books in your area. Many comic book stores throughout Tampa Bay are participating in the giveaway.
Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics are some of the publishers providing the comic books. There are comic books that both and children will enjoy. Some of the comics included are Superman, SpongeBob SquarePants, Hulk, and Star Wars.
