Republican National Convention Tampa Bay Kid’s Art Contest

Tampa Bay kids have a chance to be part of the Republican National Convention that will be in Tampa August 27-30.

Children in middle and high school can enter the “Elephants on Parade” are competition.   The art work is to answer the question “What does being an American mean to me?”

Many of the entries will be on display at the Tampa Bay Times Forum (formerly the St. Pete Times Forum).   The top five finalists will have an opportunity to tour the Tampa Bay Times Forum and the Tampa Convention Center.

The first place winner of the competition will have the added bonus of receiving two tickets to see the Republican presidential nominee’s acceptance speech, which will be broadcasted live.   In addition to that, the art work done by the winner of the art competition will be displayed in the Republican nominee’s private suite in the Times Forum.
