Tampa Bay in Tropical Ida’s 5 Day Cone of Uncertainty
The path that Ida is taking seems to have her making landfall somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico. The sates in her projected path are Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. As it makes its way north, Ida is projected to strengthen into a hurricane. It is, however, expected to weaken to a tropical storm before making landfall somewhere in the panhandle of Florida on Wednesday night. The path and the intensity are subject to change, as we all have come to know.
