Tropical Storm Chantel has formed in the North Atlantic, east of New England. The Storm does not currently pose a threat to the United States. The current forecasts have Chantel heading northeast toward Iceland. The five –day National Hurricane Center forecast has Chantel remaining a Tropical Storm into Friday afternoon.
