Pepin Academies Tampa Campus is a public charter school dedicated to serving students with learning disabilities. The school receives its charter from the local school district and complies with all applicable state laws and public school system requirements, in addition to adhering to its own charter guidelines.
Founded in 1999 as the first location of Pepin Academies, the Tampa campus initially operated out of a local church before relocating to its current site in East Tampa. The campus currently accommodates over 350 students in grades 3-12. Admission to Pepin Academies Tampa Campus is exclusively for students who have a learning disability or learning-related disability, which may include, but is not limited to, Specific Learning Disabilities, Language Impairment, Speech Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Other Health Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Pervasive Developmental Delay, or a medical condition that affects learning.
Pepin Academies Tampa Campus offers a variety of programs and resources tailored to meet the needs of its students. These include family support services, transition programs, athletics, arts, and various clubs. The educational staff consists of ESE-certified teachers who develop individualized education plans to address each student’s unique learning needs. Specialized instruction and ongoing support are provided to facilitate both academic and personal development.
