
This summer, spark your child’s curiosity and creativity at Camp Imagination, hosted by the Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa. Designed for kids entering grades K–5, Camp Imagination combines play with purposeful learning, giving children the opportunity to explore the world through engaging weekly themes, hands-on activities, and enriching experiences.
Camp Details
Dates: June 10 – August 1, 2025
Eligibility: Campers must be at least 5 years old by September 1, 2025.
Hours: Drop-off is 8:30–9:00 AM; pick-up is 4:30–5:00 PM.
Location: Camper drop-off and pick-up take place on the west side of the museum near the bus circle on Gasparilla Plaza.
Parents or guardians must present a photo ID to sign out their child each day. Late pickups after 5:00 PM incur a fee of $5 per minute.

Optional weekly lunch is available for an additional $60 per child (or $48 for 4-day weeks).

Weekly Themes
Each week features a unique, carefully designed theme:
- Week 1: Ready, Set, Go! (June 10–13) – Transportation exploration, building cars, boats, and more. Neurodiversity-affirming week
- Week 2: Maker Mania (June 16–20) – A STEAM-focused week of coding, creating, and inventing. Neurodiversity-affirming week
- Week 3: Wild World (June 23–27) – Global cultures, animals, and a passport full of adventure. Neurodiversity-affirming week
- Week 4: Sensory Quest (June 30–July 3) – New! A sensory-rich week of creative exploration.
- Week 5: The Art of Storytelling (July 7–11) – Content creation through books, podcasts, videos, and photography.
- Week 6: Epic Exploration (July 14–18) – Adventures in oceans, jungles, outer space, and more.
- Week 7: Dinosaur Invasion (July 21–25) – A prehistoric journey with fossils, digs, and dino fun.
- Week 8: Curiosity Lab (July 28–Aug. 1) – Science experiments in physics, chemistry, and forensics.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Weeks
Inclusion is at the heart of Camp Imagination. Weeks 1, 2, and 3 are specifically designed as Neurodiversity-Affirming, supporting children with Autism and other learning differences. These weeks feature:
- On-site behavior and speech specialists
- Staff trained in positive behavior support
- Smaller adult-to-child ratios
- Sensory-friendly tools and resources
- Optional pre-camp orientation and questionnaire

Scholarships
Scholarship applications for the 2024–25 school year are closed, but families may qualify for support through the Children’s Board’s Summer Passport program.
